Bioship Crab Shrapnel

My second to last project for Texture class: a vehicle of sorts. I did the texture in the Blizzard style (colorful, stylised, and simple) and the model is fairly low poly. I could optimize it further but it's just for texturing, not modeling. I think it turned out ok; I might retexture it later but at the moment I wanted the 50's pulp style body with a more modern skin to it that wasn't overly shiny. I tried putting a lot of extra grime and detail on it and it just didn't seem to fit what the ship was all about it. It's a bioship, you can give it a bath!

TECH: 3ds Max 8, photoshop for unwrap
MUSIC: Rockappella - Leavin' on a Jet Plane
TIME: 1 and a half unwrap workin' about two or three hours a night (had to do it a bunch) 2 hours for texture
